Our client operates in the Fintech space offering their customers a range of payment solutions, they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst.
We are looking for someone with experience of implementing business applications and delivering change as a Business Analyst, within the Payments industry would be an advantage, and used to working within a software development environment.
Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Act as product owners’ representative in Scrum process, throughout the sprint cycle
Define requirement stories on behalf of product owners, facilitating meetings to achieve this as necessary, and challenging product owners to define the business problems behind the requirements
Negotiate acceptance of developed code into UAT and work with business users to define scope of User Acceptance Testing
Prepare UAT summary report as an input into release sign-off process, including outstanding risks and issues
Contribute to the production and review of communications and training materials pertaining to business and/or platform change
Assist in new product development.
Contribute to detailed product and process definition.
The successful candidate will have the ability to carry out project and release related activities (e.g. story analysis, acceptance testing, implementation support). You will be a strong team player with natural patience and empathy skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. You will have strong influencing skills, and be able to establish strong trusting relationships.
You must be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative as well as working without close supervision. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office are also essential.
