To meet the challenges of these roles, you will have a track record of marketing achievement and hands-on brand experience, almost certainly in the FMCG/High Street Retailers, but perhaps in other categories too. You will have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop a clear business case and gain buy-in to your recommendations from senior management.
This is a fantastic role for a talented, ambitious Promotional Manager who will throw himself/herself into the challenges of this exciting role. The most important things we are looking for are:
• Direct team line management experience with proven ability to inspire, grow and
develop people but also ability to manage difficult conversations when required.
• You’ll be commercially astute and have exceptional project management skills with
broad exposure across the mix including P&L management, advertising, digital &
social media, in-store activations and pricing strategy; you’ll also have been involved
in new product launches.
• Brand marketing experience
• Dynamic and effective, able to prioritise quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Good negotiating skills and persistence despite obstacles
• Strong problem-solving skills
Above all, you will have an understanding of consumer motivations and drivers, ensuring that marketing activity hits the mark and reflects the quality of the brand.
