Our client offers independent financial advice to customers across the UK with offices nationwide, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their paraplanning team based in Leeds.
You will have experience supporting advisers as a Paraplanner, with a range of tasks, including correspondence with product providers and clients, research and writing suitability reports, as well as providing support to other members of a paraplanning team.
Our client is seeking a Paraplanner with working knowledge of the financial services industry across a range of investments, pensions, retirement and protection business. You will be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. Our client has a strong focus on delivering a high quality of customer service.
The successful Paraplanner will have good writing skills with the ability to conduct research in connection with investment, retirement and pension planning.
The successful candidate will be Diploma Level 4 qualified or working towards (supported fully by the company) and have an ambition to succeed in a progressive and ambitious firm. You must be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative as well as working without close supervision. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office are also essential.
